BMW
X6 SUV is going to be introduced in market on July 23,2015. The BMW will be
launched by the German luxury carmaker in the Indian car market. So, this Indian BMW X6 is going to include in the existing
range of SUVs including the BMW X1, the X3 and the BMW X5.
BMW
X6 SUV will be moved to India as CBU (Completely Built up Unit). Last year, at
the Moscow Motor Show, it was disclosed that the new BMW X6 gets changes to
both exteriors and interiors. The vehicle is manufactured, at BMW's factory in South Carolina, in a
joint development program with the third-gen X5.
The
features of the new generation BMW X6 are as same as the silhouette. It has
some changes as it has bolder front and rear look now. Dimensionally, in length
the SUV is 4,909mm, in width 1, 989mm and in height 1,702mm. It is 34mm longer,
4mm wider and 12mm higher than the unreserved model. Well in addition to it,
the SUV is 40kg lighter than the demonstrative
car. Yet the wheelbase has been lessen by 2mm to 1.933mm.The vehicle has a
newly restyled dashboard and heavily contoured seats.
It is
expected that the new generation
BMW X6 is to be powered by a 3.0-litre in-line six-cylinder diesel engine
that is accomplished of producing 630Nm of torque and 313bhp of power. Power is
channelized to all-4 wheels through an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Before striking
an electronically limited top speed of 240kmph, the SUV accelerates to 100kmph
from zero in 5.8 seconds.
